The Bahamas Chiropractic Association is officially recognized by the Bahamian Government as of March 2011. Chiropractic was born in The Bahamas in 1946 when Dr. Maurice Kelly opened his practice. Since that time the chiropractic profession has grown to 12 doctors of chiropractic with a few Bahamian students studying at chiropractic colleges in the USA and Canada.
